A little bit of hacking today with some features and ..... ta-da! You can now buy directly from my Facebook page. ArtFire Kiosk on Facebook is supported by ArtFire. All items are pulled from my ArtFire shop and you can take advantage of FREE SHIPPING when you buy anything from my ArtFire shop, my Website or the Kiosk. After long, long months......

....my new-look website is finally, almost, here! Well, it will be fully developed/filled-in in about a week or so. In the meantime, you can already order from it, register to review products, buy in UK £Sterling. & just in case you're more comfortable with Euros, US or Canadian Dollars - simply choose your currency from the drop down menu & it will show you how much it is in your currency.

Waking up at sunrise

It was an absolutely gorgeous day yesterday - sunny, not too windy and wonderfully warm - perfect for a forest walk, during which I took the opportunity to take some photos of Cowberries (Lingonberries) in flower :

And, considering the weather the previous day, there was a lot of promise for a stunning sunrise and not too much rain this morning, and that is exactly what happened.

Here's what I got up at 5am for:


It was mainly to take some photos of the stunning tulips (and yes, it was raining a bit this morning and the light is that of the sunrise), the boats and the rainbow were something of a bonus!

Walks & jewellery

I cannot believe how long it's been since my last post! I did spend the time rather well though :) There are plenty of walks on Arran and I'm taking full advantage of that so if I'm absent from Blogger, or Etsy, or Flickr, or Facebook you know I'm probably either at the beach or up a hill. That said, I've also been creating like mad in the last week or so and my head is still buzzing with lots of ideas, although my fingers are taking a strain. I've been posting some (quite a few) new items on Etsy and there are still plenty to come. Needless to say that the two tables that I have for jewellery making are completely covered in wires, beads, soldering equipment, polishing equipment, drilling equipment, oh yes, and did I mention beads? Lots of them. Here are a few pics:

Red Berry Collection

I gues I was thinking about Christmas when I came up with this idea, although I hope that the result is also wearable any other time of the year, month, day ... well, any time at all.

Finished making the first set of earrings (will be putting them on Etsy soon). And here are the pics:

Silver was oxidized with Black Salt (a food grade ingredient) which can be seen on the photo with the Silver Shade crystals.

Another writing project!

Etsy shop banner and avatar are re-done. Photos of some of the existing stock re-done and my website is currently getting re-developed. Thought to start a blog just to keep everything checked. Oh, yes, & I have lots of ideas for several collections.

Tried to put off blogging for a while, but with so many things melting about, I couldn't really not do it. So, here we go.
